My personal TBR (to be read)

My TBR is honestly kind of a problem.
I keep adding books faster than I can actually read them, but at the same time, I love having options. Thereβs nothing better than finishing a book and already knowing exactly what I might read next (even if I change my mind immediately).
These are the ones currently at the top of my list. What I SAY Iβm reading next

π²Credence by Penelope Douglas
Iβve heardβ¦ a lot about this book.
Like, enough to know itβs probably going to be messy, intense, and maybe a little questionableβbut thatβs exactly why I want to read it. I feel like this is either going to be a βwhat did I just readβ moment or something I end up weirdly loving.
Either way, I need to know. Here are some people's thoughts on the book.

πOne True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I already know this is going to hurt me.
The whole βchoosing between two people you loveβ thing? Yeah, Iβm not ready. But I also am because those are the kinds of stories I always end up loving the most.
I feel like Iβm going to have very strong opinions after this one.

π§Ί The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
This is a book Iβve been meaning to read for a while.
I know itβs heavier and more thought-provoking than what I usually reach for, but I actually like stepping outside my usual genre sometimes. From what Iβve heard, itβs unsettling and powerful, and Iβm really interested in the themes it explores.
It feels like the kind of book that will challenge me as a reader in a different way.

πΉPride and Prejudice by Jane Austin
I canβt believe I havenβt read this yet.
I know this is such a classic, especially when it comes to romance, and I feel like itβs one of those books I need to experience. Iβm really excited for the character dynamics and the slow development of the relationships.
I also love seeing where modern romance tropes come from, and I feel like this book is going to give me a better understanding of that.
This has also been made into multiple movie adaptations.

Now I just need to actually stop adding more books to my list⦠and start reading these.
But realistically, my TBR will probably keep growingβand Iβm okay with that π
